Four Crows does NOT support the killing of animals for financial gain or the inhumane treatment of animals. As Daryl follows the path of the Lakota, he believes and understands its sacred traditions. Animal skins, claws, teeth, drums, etc. are essential to the Native American way of life. Four Crows understands that not all people support this way of life. At Four Crows, it is our intention to share these important Native American traditions with the public so the commercial worth and sale of each of these items must be considered.

Additionally, Daryl and Nila are both vegetarians. Nila has been a vegetarian for 37 years and Daryl has been one for 22 years. To Nila And Daryl, the selling of animal items and skins is an obvious paradox in which they must live within.

In making these items available, Daryl promises to try his very best to obtain animal skins and different parts of these magnificent creatures that were honored and killed in a humane way, however, there will be times when his supplier will not be known. Under these circumstances, all skins, claws, teeth, skulls, etc. that come into this store will be blessed and honored for what they represent and the life that was given so that people may access their power and energy. Thus, the animal's spirit will live on through the various objects, totems and fetishes.

Four Crow's mission statement includes holding a scared space for all animals alive or passed over, respecting the sacredness of the four-legged, winged, and finned. Ho!
